Quality engineering.
Practical AI.
A creative streak.

I bring a decade of Apple experience to making complex technology reliable, understandable, and useful.

Selected work.

My work spans the systems behind a release and the experiences people actually use. These are a few places where that comes together.

A clearer path to the root cause.

Apple · Quality engineering & process design

I created a root cause analysis process that brought engineering teams together around recurring defects, ownership, and follow-through. It earned leadership support and formal adoption within Software Engineering.

My contribution
  • Coordinated teams around a shared process for investigating issues and tracking follow-up.
  • Built an AI-assisted workflow for defect retrieval, structured logging, and recurring-issue analysis.
  • Simplified intake and added reminders to make the process easier to maintain.

Ready for the real world.

Apple · visionOS platform validation

I supported the first-generation Apple Vision Pro launch through platform validation and hardware–software integration testing. My work also includes ownership of simulator, SDK, virtualization, and Xcode release testing.

What that involved

I rebuilt OS qualification tests with clearer instructions and expanded application coverage, aligned testing responsibilities across teams, and investigated regressions across application, framework, and operating-system components.

I also partnered with automation engineers to move manual checks into automated pipelines and verify the resulting test behavior.

AI that fits everyday life.

Independent work · Local models & consumer tools

I run open-source models on a Mac Mini and build workflows for research, document processing, transcription, and automation. My focus is making local AI approachable for ordinary users and small businesses on affordable consumer hardware.

How I approach it

I use Codex for independent application development and experiment with guided model setup for nontechnical users. This is hands-on development and ongoing exploration, with usefulness and accessibility driving the work.

Learning Garden.

Independent application · Functional project, public release planned

An adaptive learning application I designed and built around ability and individual needs, using freely available U.S. and UK educational content.

Behind the project

I used the working app with a child learner, then expanded its design to support people across ages, including older adults. The goal is a free public release that makes learning more accessible.

Four games. Every moving part.

Imporium LLC · Independent mobile games, 2012–2016

I designed, developed, tested, and released four original mobile games. I built the gameplay and multitouch controls, created the visuals and original music, and produced the promotional material.

Why it matters to my work

Shipping independently meant owning the whole experience: how it felt, how it performed, and how it reached people. That hands-on perspective carries into my quality engineering and application work.

An engineer.
A builder.
A people person.

Read my resume

My path into engineering started with helping people use technology, making games, and turning complex information into something clear.

At Apple, I moved from customer-facing technical work and education into platform software QA. Earlier, I created maps and geospatial materials in the U.S. Army. Across those roles, I’ve learned to investigate carefully, communicate clearly, and stay close to the person using the result.
